Following valuable insights from user testing and mentor guidance, we strategically pivoted our focus to enhance the currency transfer and bill-splitting features, aiming for a more streamlined and user-friendly experience. This intentional shift not only refined our product but also positioned us to attract potential investors by demonstrating a clear and focused market approach. While currently concentrating on these key functionalities, we have ambitious plans to expand into the realm of restaurant recommendations and reviews, showcasing our commitment to continuous innovation and growth over time.

User Research
In our extensive interviews with users of leading apps like PayPal, Venmo, Tab, and Splitwise, we identified a common thread – despite their popularity, users faced challenges, whether it be in terms of visual aesthetics or technical functionality.

Disliked needing multiple apps for a simple dinner out
Identifying a gap in the market, we took the initiative to establish our unique presence. Understanding the frustration of users dealing with fragmented experiences, we developed a one-stop solution, eradicating the need for multiple apps. To further enhance transactional efficiency and simplify payment splitting, we introduced distinctive features that redefine the user experience.
Wireframes
Upon finalizing the desired format, our team embarked on the development journey, drawing inspiration from successful apps like Tab and Venmo. While these platforms have achieved success, we identified specific issues and set out to address them in our frames, ensuring a unique and improved user experience in our app.

This journey involved extensive industry research, meticulous business planning, successful fundraising efforts, and navigating the complex legal aspects. It's been a comprehensive learning experience, encompassing every facet necessary to pave the way for a successful venture
Wearing Multiple Hats
As the sole designer on the team, my role extended beyond UI design to encompass market research, UX research, and graphic design. This multifaceted experience has not only honed my design skills but also equipped me with a well-rounded skill set. The expanded responsibilities have not only made me a more versatile designer but have also enhanced my communication abilities, enabling me to effectively collaborate with diverse teams across various fields.
